Welcome to a special four part series of our Integrity Matters vidcast on Tackling e-cheating and Assessment Security with Phillip Dawson, in collaboration with The Centre for Research in Assessment and Digital Learning (CRADLE).

In this first instalment, Phill discusses the e-cheating phenomenon, charting the magnitude of the problem across specialist cheating software and hardware and its links to commercial cheating via ‘essay mills’.

Phill explores how we might limit both the means and temptation to cheat through early intervention in the e-cheating lifecycle, and addresses the pivotal question: what layers of protection can institutions put in place to disrupt the e-cheating lifecycle?

Watch the video to hear Phill’s advice for taking back control in the e-cheating environment.

Integrity – the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles – fundamentally drives who we are and how we act, personally and professionally.

Our work has led to many insightful discussions on the role integrity plays in education, academia, research, assessment, technology and the workplace and we invite you to discover why and how integrity matters in our daily lives.
